ABirthCo has been locally owned and operated in Tulsa, serving expectant families since May, 1992. Our classes have been taught in the hospital by Donna Billingsly, a mother of four and experienced L&D nurse.
Donna brings to the classroom expertise gained from coaching hundreds of laboring women and their partners. In addition, she is personally familiar with most of your hospital physicians and staff.
Combining her medical background with having unmedicated births, including a birth at home with a midwife, Donna is able to tailor a class to fit her students' birth plan, whether it includes having an epidural or an unmedicated delivery.
Although in a hospital setting, our class sizes are small and personal. We offer tours of the birthing rooms so you'll be in a familiar environment, should you decide to deliver there. You'll get a chance to meet the staff before delivery, so you may recognize some of their smiling faces when you come back.
We look forward to helping you prepare for the challenges and rewards of becoming new parents! From the beginning of your pregnancy until we celebrate at the Baby Reunion party after your birth, our fun and interesting classes provide the information and support that you and your labor partner need.
